Rules and What to Bring
Basic Rules
- All hunters must
sign a release form and basic rules sheet on arrival.
- Hunting license and blaze orange hat or vest
required.
- Proper hunting etiquette is expected and appreciated.
- Drinking during the hunting day is prohibited.
Deer Hunting
- Each hunter is allowed to harvest one mature buck – 7 points or better –
per hunt.
- One doe per day may be harvested. Doe harvest is
encouraged to maintain a healthy herd.
- Any buck less than 7 points that is harvested by mistake will carry a $500.00 fine.
- Gun that you are
comfortable and proficient with. Shots range
from 30 to 200 yards.
- Blaze orange hat or
vest required by law.
- Valid Alabama hunting license required by law. Available locally
for $77.00 for out of state except FL which is $52.

- Flashlight with new
batteries.
- Camouflage hunting
clothes temperature varies this time of year from 20s to 60s so bring
warm clothes that can be layered if temperatures warm up.

required to hold dates. We cashiers checks, money
orders, or personal checks. Make
checks payable to Bear Creek Hunting Preserve. Balance due
upon arrival in CASH, money order, or cashier's check. All fines to be paid by cash only. Deposits are non refundable, non transferable.
