Bear Creek Hunting Preserve is in the heart of central Alabama approximately 30 minutes west of Montgomery. We hunt the forests and fields of this agriculturally rich area, where the wild game is as diverse as it is abundant. We are bordered on the south by the Alabama River and on the north and east by two prominent swamps…a great combination for hunting in the South!
Bear Creek Hunting Preserve is located in Autaugaville, Alabama. A long-time farming community, Autaugaville is mid-way between historic Selma, Alabama and the Prattville/Montgomery area. Selma is one of the most historic cities in the South, with areas representing eras spanning the Civil War to Civil Rights and beyond. Prattville and Montgomery (the state capitol) boast all the modern amenities to compliment the Southern charm.
Prattville has several venues of interest to the sportsman, including relatively new Robert Trent Jones golf trail courses. Montgomery has great shopping and cultural opportunities, including several new malls and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. In summary, this area represents a central location for both sportsman and non-hunting guests.
